Christian Wilkins, Raiders agree to terms on four-year, $110 million contract

The Las Vegas Raiders arguably made the first big splash of free agency.
The Raiders and free-agent defensive tackle Christian Wilkins agreed to terms on a four-year deal worth $110 million, a person with knowledge of the deal told . The person spoke on condition of anonymity because they aren’t authorized to discuss the contract.
Wilkins was the highest-ranked defensive tackle on USA TODAY Sports’ top 50 free agents available entering Monday’s legal tampering window.
The former Dolphins standout was Miami’s best defensive player upfront for multiple seasons. He registered a career-high nine sacks and had 61 pressures in 2023. He started every regular-season game for the Dolphins the past three seasons.
The Dolphins originally selected Wilkins in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. He produced 355 tackles, 20 ½ sacks, 43 tackles for loss and four forced fumbles in 81 career regular-season games.

Wilkins is now headed to Las Vegas on a massive deal. He is new Raiders general manager Tom Telesco’s first major personnel move and gives head coach Antonio Pierce an anchor upfront along with standout pass rusher Maxx Crosby.
The interior defensive lineman fills an area of weakness for Las Vegas. The Raiders ranked in the bottom half of the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game, and the club didn’t have a defensive tackle with double-digit tackles for loss or an interior rusher with more than 29 pressures last season.
