One person is dead and four others were injured after they were electrocuted in a fountain at the Harbourside Place in Jupiter, Florida, first responders said.
Around 3:30 p.m. police and firefighters responded to a call that a child was in the fountain in distress, which is located in front of a stage, and found multiple people, adults and children, who were hurt from the electric shock, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and the Jupiter Police Department said.
"When we arrived on the scene, the Jupiter Police Department and civilians were treating patients when we got here, so they got here very quick, and the community and Jupiter police were also involved in that, and that was a good thing," Capt. Tom Reyes of the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, told ABC affiliate WPBF on Sunday.
