YouTuber Aspyn Ovard Breaks Silence on Divorce From Parker Ferris
View Date:2024-12-23 14:11:37
Aspyn Ovard is being mindful of her kids amid her divorce.
In fact, the YouTuber even tapped into the viral "very demure, very mindful" trend while addressing her recent breakup with her husband of over eight years, Parker Ferris.
"You see how I don’t talk about my divorce online?" she began in an Aug. 22 TikTok video—which showed her holding her newborn daughter, whose name she has chosen not to publicize. "Very demure, very mindful."
The 28-year-old continued, "You see how I considered my children and how it would affect them to have their family's personal information shared all over the internet? Very smart, very good mom."
Aspyn—who shares daughters Cove, 4, and Lola, 2, as well as her baby girl, with Parker—said she will "continue to stay unbothered and not share anything to protect my peace."
"Very cutesy," she added. "Very peaceful."
Aspyn filed for divorce on April 1, the same day she announced the birth of her and Parker's third child on social media. However, the couple was granted a motion to halt their divorce proceedings on April 17, with court documents obtained by E! News noting that the stay was given "pending the outcome of settlement negotiations."
Parker has not spoken out about the split, though he did appear in Aspyn's April 22 TikTok of a "family date" to a Swig soda shop.
"Parker and I used to go there, back in the day, to the original location," Aspyn shared. "In high school, it was where all the kids hung out."
Parker—who married the influencer in 2015, when she was 19 and he was 20—then interjected off-camera, saying that Swig was the place to go "if you didn't have plans on a Friday or Saturday night."
"You'd run into friends and stuff, and it's like, 'Oh, where you're headed?'" he continued, before Aspyn chimed in and said, "But now, we're not doing that."
She added, "We're in the car with three kids."
